Description
Kent County seeks an independent contractor to provide peer recovery capital coaching to participants with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions in the 17th Circuit Court Treatment and Support Court. Duties include one-on-one peer support, recovery-capital assessments and plans, life-skills groups, housing assistance, treatment-engagement support, and help accessing employment, education, healthcare, benefits, and community resources. The coach must maintain participant and service records, submit engagement logs, and participate in case staffing, multidisciplinary meetings, and training. Required qualifications include a high school diploma, lived experience with substance abuse and mental health systems, Peer Recovery Coach certification, a valid driver's license, and reliable transportation. The one-year contract has a maximum total compensation of $61,037. The contractor is responsible for transportation, supplies, and vehicle and liability insurance, and must provide proof of insurance.
