Description
Rockford Public Schools is seeking a modular, scalable uninterruptible power supply system for its district data center, including turnkey installation, associated electrical work, permits, and removal and disposal of the existing three-phase UPS. The specified system is a Vertiv APM2 30 kVA unit with a 15 kVA capacity, or an equal product; the bid form also identifies mandatory alternates for a maintenance bypass cabinet and a valve-regulated lead-acid battery system. The proposal must include equipment and configuration details, compliance documentation, system diagrams, references for at least three similar installations completed within the prior two years, and a completed schedule of values. The contractor is responsible for startup, testing, training, and project documentation. A 5% bid security is required with the bid; the selected contractor must provide 100% performance and payment bonds.
