Description
Rockford Public Schools seeks a turnkey modular, scalable uninterruptible power supply system for its data center. The work includes supplying the UPS and associated battery backup, software and licenses, maintenance bypass equipment, and related components; removing and disposing of the existing three-phase UPS; and completing all associated electrical work, permits, installation, configuration, testing, and commissioning. The specifications identify Vertiv equipment or an equivalent, with mandatory alternates for a maintenance bypass cabinet and valve-regulated lead-acid batteries. The bid response must include equipment and system submittals, pricing by item, and the required bid forms and supporting materials. Bidders must provide at least three references for similar installations completed within the prior two years. A 5% bid security is required with the bid; the selected contractor must provide 100% performance and payment bonds. The scope also includes on-site administrator training and system documentation.
