Description
Kern High School District is soliciting a lump-sum bid for final cleaning of all buildings at the new Vista Continuation High School campus. The scope includes cleaning interior and exterior glass, doors, frames, floors, carpets, light fixtures, HVAC registers, cabinets, restrooms, stainless-steel surfaces, marker boards, fire-extinguisher cabinets, and other finished surfaces; removing construction tape, labels, stains, paint drips, trash, and debris; waxing designated flooring; and providing all cleaning tools, agents, equipment, and supplies. Multiple mobilizations are required, and the contractor must coordinate work with the construction schedule and dispose of generated debris off site. The project is a California public-works contract subject to prevailing-wage, DIR registration and monitoring, contractor licensing, prequalification, DVBE participation or good-faith-effort requirements, and specified insurance and bonding requirements. The estimated bid value is $71,042, the anticipated duration is 28 calendar days, and the bid requires a 10% bid security, 100% payment bond, and 100% performance bond. The bid package requires the Bid Form, subcontractor listing, notarized Non-Collusion Declaration, Sufficient Funds Declaration, asbestos and lead exclusion certifications, DVBE participation documentation, and other applicable certifications and forms identified in the solicitation.
