The Société québécoise des infrastructures is soliciting public construction bids for perimeter-security improvements at the Laval courthouse, located at 2800 boulevard Saint-Martin Ouest in Laval, Quebec. The work includes architectural, electrical, and electronic-security interventions in an occupied building, along with specialized equipment and site improvements to enhance building security and access control while maintaining operations and occupant safety. The successful contractor must hold the qualifications and licences required under Quebec’s Building Act, maintain a permanent establishment in Quebec or an applicable intergovernmental-agreement jurisdiction, and perform Quebec or Canadian construction work. At least 15% of the value of supplied materials and equipment must be Quebec or otherwise Canadian. The plans and specifications contain confidential information and will be released electronically through a secure OneDrive link only to bidders that complete the required confidentiality and security-clearance process. The work is expected to take 35 weeks, with a probable start between December 8, 2026, and January 8, 2027; site mobilization is expected around March 8, 2027.
