Description
The City of Lincoln Parking Services is soliciting a single-prime contractor to furnish labor, materials, equipment, supervision, permits, licenses, and related services to remove existing linear ribbon-lighting fixtures and install new fixtures at four West Haymarket parking decks. The base bid specifies Keystone wireless DMX fixtures, associated wiring and control modifications, wireless transmission to Deck 4, and reprogramming of the Mosaic lighting-control system through Heartland Scenic Studio. Bid alternates permit GVA Lighting, Bold Lighting, or an approved equal with wired DMX control and corresponding Mosaic-system modifications. The work includes electrical raceways, conductors, junction boxes, drivers, controls, testing, inspections, restoration, disposal of removed materials, record drawings, operating and maintenance manuals, owner training, and construction permits. Equipment must be new, UL listed, suitable for wet locations, and covered by the specified warranties. The contractor must coordinate installation with Pinnacle Bank Arena events, football Saturdays, and parking operations, maintain facility operations, and achieve substantial completion by November 2, 2026. The lowest responsible, responsive bidder will be selected. A five-percent bid bond is required, while performance and payment bonds each equal 100 percent of the contract amount and are required upon award.
