Description
The City of Lincoln is soliciting bids for Project 502467 to rehabilitate approximately 2,656 linear feet of an existing 48-inch corrugated metal sanitary sewer from A Street to Rosa Parks Way. The work includes mobilization, construction staking, clearing and grubbing, traffic control, manhole ring/frame/cover replacement, antimicrobial cementitious lining of the sewer and manholes, sewer cleaning, pre- and post-lining televised inspections, pumping and bypassing operations, and qualified railroad flaggers. The plans identify work near BNSF railroad tracks and require coordination with the railroad and affected property owners. The contractor must be experienced in sanitary sewer rehabilitation, cementitious lining, temporary bypass pumping, and related work. Submittals and performance requirements include a bypass pumping plan, project scheduling, product and design documentation, testing, CCTV reports and videos, site restoration, and a two-year warranty for the pipe and manhole liner installations. Substantial completion is required within 150 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed, with final completion within 180 calendar days. The bid line-item schedule identifies a base bid total of $2,542,359.00.
