Description
The Atlanta Regional Commission is soliciting proposals from qualified consultants or firms to provide ongoing, as-needed WordPress development and related digital platform services for ten websites. The scope includes custom theme and plugin development; maintenance, troubleshooting, bug and technical-debt remediation; new site development, redesign, web design, CMS configuration, integrations, hosting coordination, deployments, performance, security, backups, staging, and modernization. ARC expects one nonexclusive award, permits unrestricted subcontracting, and requires task estimates and approval before work begins or billing occurs. The consultant must provide accessibility assessment and remediation for site templates and applications using WCAG 2.1 AA as the working standard, with readiness for WCAG 2.2. Known accessibility issues are expected to be remediated by May 2027, and reporting must document testing and remediation; an ACR or VPAT is not required. Most work may be performed remotely, but infrequent in-person meetings at ARC offices may be required, and emergency support must be available outside regular business hours. The initial term is one year with two annual renewal options. Proposals must include qualifications, similar experience, three client references with contact information and work periods, resumes for all assigned personnel, and fixed regular and emergency hourly rates.
