Description
New Mexico State University is requesting proposals from insurance program administrators, risk-management firms, and other qualified entities to provide comprehensive intercollegiate athletics contingent risk, contractual incentive, and prize indemnity insurance related to revenue-sharing agreements under the House settlement framework. Coverage may indemnify predetermined financial obligations resulting from defined NIL value-raising achievements or events, with insured events, coverage amounts, policy limits, and other terms determined during the placement process. The selected vendor must demonstrate access to appropriate specialty insurance markets, explain quotation and policy-issuance processes and expected turnaround times, determine premiums, administer and settle claims, verify insured events, and disclose all commissions, fees, and other costs. Proposals must address relevant experience with comparable FBS intercollegiate athletics programs, provide up to three client references, identify assigned personnel and their qualifications, include a letter of transmittal, address the evaluation criteria, and agree to the university's standard terms and conditions. The contract term will be determined by the parties, with mutually agreed renewal options not exceeding five years.
