Description
Cook County is soliciting armored car transportation services for the secure collection and delivery of cash, checks, and other deposits from multiple County agencies to designated banks and financial institutions. The scope covers 22 service items across court, corrections, clerk, medical examiner, probation, and treasury facilities, with specified pickup and delivery schedules. The contractor must provide timely and secure transport, electronic tracking for all pickups and deliveries, receipt/log books, and copies of requested armored-car manifests within 48 hours. The contractor must also maintain insurance equal to or greater than the maximum in-transit liability for any vehicle route, with a deductible no greater than $15,000. The contract period is three years, with one two-year renewal option; the expected initial service period is April 1, 2027, through March 31, 2030.
