Description
The U.S. Coast Guard is conducting market research for a potential FY-27 dockside repair availability for the USCGC Oak (WLB-211), a buoy tender. The anticipated performance period is March 24, 2027, through June 2, 2027, subject to change. The contractor would provide all necessary materials, equipment, and personnel. The anticipated work includes hydraulic and electrical deck-machinery overhauls; tank cleaning, inspection, and flushing; davit, buoy crane, winch, chain stopper, and capstan inspection and servicing; diesel engine, generator, exhaust piping, and ventilation duct cleaning; replacement or renewal of lights, doors, hatches, fans, deck piping, ventilation components, and deck coverings; and preservation of interior and exterior surfaces. This is a Sources Sought notice for market research only, not a solicitation or request for offers. Respondents are asked to identify their company, capabilities, business size, intention to bid as a prime contractor, and applicable small-business certification documentation.
