Description
The City of Emporia is soliciting sealed bids for the Bison Exhibit Improvements Project. The work includes mobilization, common excavation, Type B earthwork compaction, aggregate base, reinforced concrete footings, a precast concrete structure, reinforced concrete walls, temporary slope barriers, inlet sediment barriers, and sediment removal. Bids must include a certified check, cashier’s check, or approved bidder’s bond for at least 5% of the total bid. The awarded contractor must furnish statutory, performance, and maintenance bonds, each in the amount of 100% of the contract. Plans and bid documents are available for a fee, with hard-copy, electronic, and delivery options stated in the notice.
