Description
The Nature Conservancy is soliciting a supplier to advance conceptual stormwater flood-reduction projects in the City of Groton from approximately 30% designs to complete construction-ready documents. The scope includes project management, quality assurance planning, site surveys and investigations, basis-of-design reports, civil and landscape design, construction drawings and specifications, cost estimates, environmental permitting, stakeholder and public engagement, and an implementation funding strategy. Proposed improvements include green infrastructure such as bioretention cells, stormwater planters, tree filters, vegetated filter strips, permeable pavement, and infiltration practices, as well as gray infrastructure such as pretreatment BMPs, drainage upgrades, and stormwater bypasses in the Five Corners neighborhood. The proposal must include separate Technical and Financial Proposals. The Technical Proposal must address the supplier’s approach, work plan, mandatory qualifications, references, current or prior TNC contracts, subcontractors, legal actions, required forms and certifications, acceptance or proposed revisions to TNC’s standard clauses, and any applicable AI disclosures. The Financial Proposal must provide firm fixed pricing broken down by scope tasks. A current certificate of insurance is required with the proposal, and the selected supplier must maintain specified workers’ compensation, general liability, automobile liability, and professional liability coverage during contract performance.
