Description
The Texas Department of Transportation is soliciting elevator maintenance, repair, and inspection services for its Tyler District Office. The scope includes monthly full maintenance, preventive maintenance, repairs, routine and periodic inspections and safety testing, annual inspections and Certificates of Compliance, emergency and normal service calls, OEM parts and materials, service records, and related reporting. Services must comply with applicable ASME, Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and other applicable requirements. The vendor must be TDLR-certified, have at least five years of relevant company or qualifying ownership experience within the past seven years, and provide qualified elevator mechanics, mechanic helpers, and a QEI-1 inspector. The solicitation has an estimated evaluation cost of $225,000, although quantities are estimates and TxDOT provides no minimum purchase guarantee. The initial contract term runs from execution through October 29, 2027, with three one-year renewal options. A completed subcontracting plan is required, whether or not the respondent intends to subcontract. Responses must be submitted electronically through the Euna Procurement system as separate documents, with pricing submitted in the required Excel format and other required sections submitted as PDFs.
