Description
Gilmer Independent School District is soliciting bids for Category Two E-rate equipment and services. The scope includes three network switches with necessary software or licenses and switch maintenance, one wall-mounted closed rack cabinet, 16 battery replacements for CyberPower OR1500LCDRT2U UPS units, one battery replacement for a CyberPower OR1500LCDRM1U UPS unit, and managed internal broadband services for existing equipment. The district requires bidders to bid the entire applicable hardware project rather than individual components, provide compatibility documentation for the existing Ruckus and CyberPower networks, and supply new, non-refurbished equipment. Functional equivalents are acceptable, but equipment from manufacturers identified on the FCC Covered List is prohibited. Bidders must include the C2 Cover Page, provide a valid E-rate SPIN, participate in the applicable funding year, identify all fees and taxes, and accept the district's required E-rate discount-method options. Awards are contingent on E-rate funding and final board approval.
