Description
Chapel Hill Independent School District seeks a contractor to provide limited lawn maintenance across its facilities. The scope includes weekly or seasonally appropriate mowing, string trimming and edging around curbs, sidewalks, fences, driveways, parking lots, buildings, playgrounds, trees, poles, and signs; blowing clippings and debris from paved areas; weed control; mulch refreshing; shrub and plant pruning at least three times per year or as needed; and removal of trash, litter, and dead plant material during each visit. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, tools, and materials and schedule work to avoid disruption to school activities. The contract is for one year from award, with options for the district to renew for up to three additional years. Proposers must provide area-by-area pricing, per-visit pricing, estimated frequencies and schedules, and pricing for additional grounds-maintenance services. Three references for the same type of service are required, and insurance coverage must be provided before work begins. A mandatory pre-proposal conference and site visit is required for proposal eligibility.
