Description
The City of Grand Saline is seeking contractor qualifications for Stryker Lake Water System improvements. The identified subcontracting and supply opportunities include electrical work, sludge haul-off, and laborers. The project is funded through a loan from the Texas Water Development Board under the Clean Water State Revolving Fund. The project is subject to Davis-Bacon Act wage requirements, Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act requirements for applicable contracts, EPA Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Program requirements, American Iron and Steel requirements, equal employment opportunity requirements, federal debarment and suspension requirements, and applicable monitoring and reporting provisions. The contract is contingent on release of funds from the Texas Water Development Board, and the bid documents contain additional mandatory federal funding provisions.
