Description
Lakeland Electric is seeking bids for the supply and transfer of new turbine lubricating oil for the McIntosh Power Plant, Unit 5 Steam Turbine. The project involves furnishing approximately 3,900 gallons of turbine lube oil (ISO VG 32, Chevron GST Oil 32 or equivalent) and transferring it into the turbine lubrication reservoir. The oil must meet Siemens lubrication specifications. Bidders may offer either pre-filtered/conditioned oil (meeting NAS 3 cleanliness) or unconditioned oil, with separate pricing for each option. Delivery must be by bulk tanker, and the vendor must provide all necessary transfer equipment and personnel. The work will be performed during a scheduled outage at the plant, and all work must comply with safety and environmental requirements. Oil removal and reservoir cleaning are under separate contracts.
