Description
Atlantic County is soliciting uniformed security services for numerous County facilities, including the County Office Building, nursing and clinic facilities, social services locations, government offices, schools, libraries, an animal shelter, and other sites. The scope includes armed and unarmed security officers, fixed security desks, interior and exterior patrols, visitor screening and access control, building opening and closing, parking-lot escorts, alarm response, incident reporting, emergency assistance, and additional coverage for meetings, special events, and other assignments. The contractor must provide qualified and properly uniformed personnel, supervisors, vehicles, equipment, required training and certifications, New Jersey licensing and registrations, background screening, and ongoing operational oversight. The solicitation requires five similar uniformed-security references from the past two years, specified insurance coverage, a bid security and consent of surety with the bid, and a performance bond after award. The contract term is two years, beginning January 1, 2027, or the date of contract execution, whichever comes first, through December 31, 2028.
