Description
The Town of Hampton is soliciting sealed bids for as-needed snow plowing and treatment services at Hampton Center School, Hampton Marston School, and Hampton Academy during the 2026–2027 winter season. The contractor must provide equipment, operators, labor, materials, mobilization, regular storm monitoring, and treatment of designated drive aisles and parking lots. Areas must be cleared by 6:00 a.m. on school days, with rock salt applied as needed; sand is prohibited on the porous pavement area at Hampton Academy. Shoveling and hand work are excluded. The contract period is November 1, 2026, through April 15, 2027, and includes up to 10 storm events, with additional per-storm pricing for events beyond 10. Subcontracting is prohibited. Bidders must submit a lump-sum seasonal price and a per-storm price, along with three comparable references and a list of mobilized equipment and required employees. The bid form requires two complete packages—one original and one copy—and the selected contractor must maintain specified insurance coverage, including general liability limits of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate.
