Description
The Commonwealth of Massachusetts, through the Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs, is seeking contractors to provide independent medical examinations, fitness-for-duty and other employment-related medical evaluations, and medical cost containment and managed care services. The scope primarily supports Massachusetts Environmental Police Officers and other EOEEA employees, including workers receiving Injury on Duty benefits. Services include coordinating examinations through a statewide and surrounding-state physician network; providing in-person and clinically appropriate telehealth examinations; preparing objective medical reports; medical bill review and PPO repricing; utilization, drug, and peer review; nurse case management; vocational rehabilitation consultation; diagnostic testing coordination; secure data exchange and reporting; implementation, training, and technical support. The contract has an initial one-year term with two one-year renewal options, for a maximum duration of three years. Bidders must demonstrate relevant experience, provide three customer references, and submit at least two redacted sample IME reports.
