Description
The City of Bangor is seeking a contractor to replace the public address system serving the Domestic and International Terminal buildings at Bangor International Airport. The work includes system design, procurement and installation of hardware, programming, commissioning, training, warranty support, and delivery of system documentation. The proposed system must be a fully digital, networked paging system with at least 26 paging zones, simultaneous multi-zone announcements, recorded announcements and background music, SIP integration with the airport's Avaya IP Office PBX, at least 250 speakers, UPS backup power, CAT 6 plenum cabling, patch panels, and installation in both public and secured airport areas. The contractor must maintain system operation during the transition, coordinate work during restricted hours, complete required badging and security procedures, and provide product details, qualifications, at least three customer references, and a completed Bid Form. The solicitation identifies a minimum two-year manufacturer warranty, one-year installer workmanship warranty, and first-year system service.
