Description
Piscataquis County is soliciting proposals for a minimum of four prefabricated 10-by-16-foot A-frame communications equipment buildings, with an option for one additional building. The scope includes furnishing, fabrication, electrical outfitting, delivery, and placement. Buildings must meet specified structural, insulation, roofing, siding, door, snow-load, and weather-tightness requirements for year-round service in Maine. Each building must include a complete electrical system with a 100-amp, 120/240-volt panelboard, LED lighting, convenience receptacles, a dedicated 240-volt communications-equipment circuit, an exterior HVAC disconnect, grounding and bonding, communications grounding provisions, surge protection, and future communications-cable entry provisions. Proposals must address compliance with the specifications, equivalent materials, delivery and placement methodology, schedule, warranty, pricing, exceptions and assumptions, and comparable-project references. A completed pricing form is required.
