Description
Texas State University is requesting proposals for comprehensive maintenance of the ALERRT training and firing range. The contractor must provide labor, supervision, tools, materials, supplies, and equipment for facility cleaning, trash and debris removal, bullet-trap and target maintenance, grounds care, pest removal, material handling, minor structure repairs, roadway and berm maintenance, and general range upkeep. The work covers restricted training and range areas totaling approximately 13,492 square feet, including shoot houses, outdoor firing ranges, bullet traps, target systems, storage areas, roads, berms, and grounds. The contractor must maintain secure site access, coordinate work around active law-enforcement training, perform most scheduled work on weekends, remain available for after-hours and time-sensitive requests, and acknowledge service requests within one hour. The solicitation has a five-year initial contract term beginning on or before December 1, 2026, and requires qualification responses, a separate pricing proposal, an execution of offer, a non-collusion affidavit, and a VetHUB subcontracting plan.
