Description
Travis County is soliciting bids for countywide sidewalk repair and construction work under IFB 265-GC. The scope includes clearing and grubbing, excavation and embankment, sidewalk and driveway construction, curb and gutter work, asphalt paving, temporary traffic control, signage, erosion and sedimentation controls, landscaping or revegetation, site cleanup, and related labor, materials, equipment, permits, and construction services. Candidate locations include multiple subdivisions and thoroughfares, with additional locations potentially included as needed. The contractor must comply with the project specifications, prevailing wage requirements, stormwater pollution prevention requirements, safety rules, traffic and public-access requirements, and Travis County's Historically Underutilized Business program. The solicitation identifies a 13.90% overall HUB goal and requires a completed bid worksheet, bid security, safety documentation, ethics declaration, HUB declaration, debarment certification, and other listed response materials. The performance period is 365 calendar days after the written Notice to Proceed; prices must remain valid for 120 days.
