Description
The district is seeking design-bid-build contractor services to replace air-handling equipment and add a chiller at Lincoln Middle School. The work follows the project drawings and mechanical specifications and includes associated HVAC, hydronic piping, controls, electrical work, demolition, testing, balancing, commissioning, and related construction. The project documents require substantial completion by August 18, 2027. Proposals must use the provided Proposal Form and include proposal security when the proposal exceeds $7,499. The proposal package also requires a project manager's resume and subcontractor information; the apparent low four proposers must provide residency certificates for proposed subcontractors within 24 hours after opening. A mandatory job walk-through must be completed before submitting a proposal. Performance and labor-and-material payment bonds, each for 100% of the contract sum, are required before contract issuance when the proposal exceeds $7,499. The proposal form also requests three current references and project experience information.
