Description
The Ute Indian Housing Authority is soliciting proposals from qualified individuals or firms to provide housing maintenance services for its low-income rental program. The requested capabilities specifically include heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) services and electrical services. The selected firm will be offered a one-year service contract with a cost limit to be determined by the Housing Authority. Proposals must include professional licenses or certifications, a description of the services and responsible personnel, three client references, experience with Indian Housing Authorities or Native American tribes, fee structure and expenses, and any contract history with the Housing Authority. The procurement is open with Indian Preference; firms claiming that preference must provide proof of tribal enrollment and at least 51% Indian ownership. Davis-Bacon wage requirements and applicable federal laws apply because federal funds will be used.
