Description
Sweetwater County Solid Waste Disposal District No. 1 is soliciting sealed lump-sum bids for complete processing of approximately 12,500 cubic yards of branches, brush, and woody debris. The contractor must furnish all labor, equipment, operators, fuel, maintenance, transportation, supervision, mobilization, demobilization, fire prevention, cleanup, and incidental services. Processed material must have a maximum nominal particle size of 4 inches minus, and oversized material must be reprocessed at no additional cost. The contractor must maintain an average minimum production rate of 750 cubic yards per working day and complete the project within 25 calendar days after written notice to proceed. Bidders must have experience with commercial or municipal grinding, chipping, forestry, land-clearing, or similar woody-debris processing. The successful contractor is responsible for applicable permits and regulatory compliance, including requirements involving the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality. Insurance certificates are required before work begins, including workers' compensation, commercial general liability, and automobile liability coverage.
