Description
The City is seeking one single-axle cab and chassis configured as a construction and snow-plow truck, with plow equipment and a clam-hoist dump-body swap. The scope includes transferring the existing clam hoist and stainless-steel dump body from a donor chassis, providing a new orange-peel clam bucket and cable, and installing the specified plow, wing, hydraulic, lighting, hitch, and related equipment. The City prefers a current model year but will consider an unsold previous-year model that meets or exceeds the specifications; an off-the-lot chassis is acceptable if it meets specified structural requirements. The bid requires completion of the supplied specification pages and bid form, along with a complete manufacturer's brochure and explanations of any exceptions. The completed vehicle must be delivered ready for service, with manuals, specified training, and warranty coverage. Bids may be submitted by email or mail.
