Description
The City of Bangor is seeking a contractor to replace approximately 220 feet of existing concrete curb in front of the International Terminal with natural granite curbing at least 5 by 16 inches. Work includes establishing a safe work site, saw-cutting and removing portions of the sidewalk, curb, and pavement, drilling and pinning the granite to the existing concrete walk, placing and finishing concrete infill, and replacing pavement. The contractor is responsible for trenching and compaction, and the work must be completed by April 30, 2027. Bidders must submit the provided Bid Form, including unit and total pricing and estimated start and completion dates, and provide contact information for at least three references. The City evaluates bidder qualifications, estimated start time, and cost. Required insurance includes workers' compensation, employer's liability, automobile liability, commercial general liability, and professional liability. A pre-bid meeting and site evaluation are optional.
