Description
The City of Keene is seeking statements of qualifications from qualified NHDOT pre-approved engineering consultants for engineering study, preliminary engineering, preliminary and final design, permitting, right-of-way acquisition and easement support, and bid-assistance services for the Transportation Heritage Trail Phase 2 project. The work must comply with the New Hampshire Department of Transportation's Local Public Agency Manual for the Development of Projects because the project is partially funded through NHDOT and federal Transportation Alternatives Program and Congressionally Directed Spending funds. The project includes upgrading approximately 1,500 feet of the Cheshire Railroad corridor from Route 101 to Joslin Station Road, including drainage, brush clearing, grading, and a paved surface; relocating and rehabilitating bridges; constructing bridge abutments, decks, wing walls, railings, and related site improvements; creating a trailhead with an at-grade crossing; and providing bicycle and pedestrian amenities, parking, ramps, and walking surfaces.
