Description
The University of Central Missouri is soliciting a lump-sum bid for the supply and installation of fire alarm equipment at the Highlander Theatre in the Martin Building. The work includes removing four existing Edwards EST3 beam smoke detectors and associated addressable monitor modules; furnishing and installing twelve new Edwards EST3 heat detectors with white bases and associated addressable monitor modules; connecting and programming the new devices into the existing Edwards EST3 fire alarm system; installing required conduits, back boxes, accessories, and hardware; painting conduits and back boxes to match surrounding finishes; and completing testing, commissioning, cleanup, disposal, and updated as-built drawings. The specifications do not permit deviations from the listed EST3 products. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, permits, licenses, supervision, equipment, and services necessary for a complete installation. The requested completion date is January 8, 2027, with work expected to begin on or around December 14, 2026. The bid package requires a proposal and bill of materials, work authorization affidavit, certificate of insurance, references, and a Surety2000 bid bond. A performance and payment bond equal to 100% of the contract price is required at contract execution for projects over $25,000.
