Description
The City of Blue Springs is soliciting bids for Phase A of a lead service line inventory covering approximately 4,114 water meters within the city limits. The work includes locating and identifying water service pipe materials on both the city-owned and customer-owned sides of each meter, performing investigatory excavations, recording excavation locations in accordance with the City's GPS requirements, conducting non-destructive testing, and reporting any damage to exposed service lines. The contractor must restore each investigatory excavation to its pre-excavation condition and provide digital and printed reports, along with other incidental work described in the project manual. A bid security equal to 5% of the bid amount is required. The anticipated contract length is 150 calendar days, with notice to proceed anticipated in November 2026.
