Description
The City of Broussard, Lafayette Parish, Louisiana is soliciting sealed bids for its FY 2025-2026 Street Improvements - Phase 2 project. The scope of work includes approximately 21,435 linear feet of joint and crack cleaning and sealing, 29,741 square yards of double application textured bituminous surface treatment, 64,517 square yards of single application textured bituminous surface treatment, and 35,662 square yards of asphalt rejuvenator surface treatment. The project also involves associated thermoplastic pavement marking within the city limits. A mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled for July 2, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the City Staff Training Facility. Attendance for the entire duration of the conference is required for all prospective bidders. The construction period is 90 calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed. Bidders must be licensed under the Louisiana Contractor's Licensing Law for bids exceeding $50,000.00 and must provide a bid bond of 5% of the bid price, a performance bond of not less than 100% of the contract price, and a payment bond of not less than 100% of the contract price. All bonds must be from approved surety companies licensed to do business in Louisiana and listed on the U.S. Department of the Treasury Financial Management Service List.
