Cutterhead Dredge Services for Atchafalaya River Channel Maintenance

Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District, is soliciting proposals for the hire and operation of one fully crewed and equipped hydraulic pipeline cutterhead dredge. The work involves the removal and satisfactory disposal of shoal material in the Atchafalaya River Bay, Bar, and Crewboat Cut Channel, located in St. Mary Parish, Louisiana. The contract requires a dredge with a discharge size of 27 inches or greater inside diameter. All work must be performed in accordance with EM 385-1-1 "Safety and Occupational Health Requirements". Prospective contractors must register in the System for Award Management (SAM) and submit inquiries via ProjNet. The magnitude of construction is estimated between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000.
