Submission Instructions
Description
The Lafayette Consolidated Government is soliciting sealed bids for LED fixtures intended for interstate lighting. Bids can be submitted electronically through the Tyler Portico platform or in person at the Purchasing Division office located at 705 West University Avenue, Lafayette, Louisiana. The deadline for bid submission is 2:00 pm Central Time on July 2, 2026. Bidders are strongly encouraged to register on the LCG Vendor Access platform in advance, as the registration process may take time. Electronic bidders must submit the same documents as mail-in bidders, including electronic copies of the front and back of a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check. Bids must be signed in accordance with Louisiana RS Title 38:2212(B)5, and a Corporate Resolution or Certificate of Authority is required. Bid security must be 5% of the base bid plus additive alternates, provided by an approved surety company. Bids will be evaluated based on the lowest responsible and responsive bid, and the Lafayette Consolidated Government reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The government strongly encourages the participation of Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs).
