Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate an eight-month sole-source bridge contract with DBI Waste Systems Inc. for comprehensive solid-waste and recycling management at the VA Boston Healthcare System. The scope includes allocating equipment, personnel, and backup resources for waste collection, recycling, and disposal, along with training and support needed to comply with federal, state, and local regulations. This is a notice of intent rather than a competitive solicitation. The bridge contract is intended to prevent an interruption in service while the agency develops a new base-plus-four-option-year procurement.
