Description
The Dallas Fort Worth International Airport Board is seeking an on-call contractor to provide aircraft deicing and anti-icing services for Corporate Aviation aircraft at a designated airport location during winter weather events from November through March. The contractor must evaluate aircraft contamination, select and apply approved Type I and/or Type IV fluids, inspect aircraft surfaces, document fluid usage and holdover times, and notify aviation personnel when re-treatment is required. The contractor must supply deicing trucks, approved fluids, personal protective equipment, spill-containment and fluid-collection equipment, trained personnel, and all required service records. Work must comply with FAA, ICAO, SAE, airport ramp-safety, and environmental requirements, including glycol-fluid containment and disposal. The contractor must maintain radio communications, complete services within scheduled departure windows, correct deficiencies at no additional cost, and submit weekly invoices for completed services. Required submission information includes the Business Disclosure Form, company and contact information, acceptance of the specifications and terms, payment terms, and the online Corporate Aviation Deicing Services pricing schedule.
