Description
Dallas Area Rapid Transit is soliciting sealed offers for a full-turnkey, new computer-controlled wheel press system. The system must be double-ended with dual cylinders, horizontal-acting, and have a minimum pressing capacity of 600 tons. It must include all components and tooling needed to mount components onto axles to create wheelset assemblies and to demount components from wheelset assemblies. The scope includes equipment supply, installation, technical compliance and system-performance information, project approach and schedule, warranty, training, spare parts, lifecycle support, and technical and contractual exceptions or deviations. The submission also requires completed solicitation, pricing, representations and certifications, business questionnaire, employee information, bonding-capacity statements, and other specified exhibits and attachments.
