Description
This task-order solicitation is limited to contractors in the National Roofing Program MATOC pool and requests complete design-build services for roof replacement and associated building-envelope work at NC106 in Wilmington, North Carolina. The project covers the USAFRC, OMS, and Storage buildings, including replacement of EPDM roof systems with Class 4 SBS-modified bitumen systems at the USAFRC and OMS, and a mesh-reinforced elastomeric coating finish for the Storage building. The scope includes design investigations and construction documents, demolition, roof-system installation, roof access ladders, curbs, flashing, gutters, scuppers, secondary overflow drainage, sealants, parapet and wall-panel work, equipment supports, pressure washing, and related repairs. The contractor must provide a 100% design, coordinate site investigations and existing-condition verification, and use a Registered Roof Consultant and appropriately licensed design professionals. The solicitation also requires construction planning and quality-control submittals, safety and environmental plans, warranties, insurance, and closeout as-built documentation.
