The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is hosting an industry day for the FY 2026/FY 2027 Coastal Storm Risk Management project at Surf City. The anticipated work includes furnishing plant, labor, materials, and equipment for dredging, transporting, placing, and shaping approximately 6,500,000 cubic yards of dune and berm beach fill along approximately 33,300 linear feet of beach; conducting pre- and post-construction beach surveys; extending approximately 40 existing walkover structures; and stabilizing approximately 46 to 56 acres of new dune. The project is expected to use an ocean-certified hopper dredge, an ocean-certified pipeline dredge, or both, with borrow areas located offshore near the south end of Topsail Island Beaches. The industry day will be conducted virtually through Microsoft Teams, followed by optional individual contractor breakout sessions. Interested parties must RSVP to the listed contacts by September 11, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time, indicating whether they plan to attend the group meeting and/or request a breakout session. This notice is an industry-day event rather than a solicitation for proposals.
