Description
The City of St. Petersburg is soliciting one vendor to collect cash and other monies from various City locations, transport the funds securely, and deposit them with JP Morgan Chase. Services include scheduled same-day and next-day deposits, change-order deliveries, emergency pickups, transaction reporting, and service at locations that may be added or removed during the agreement. Estimated annual quantities are 260 same-day pickups, 3,484 next-day pickups, and 160 change-order deliveries, although actual quantities may vary. The contractor must provide all personnel, vehicles, equipment, materials, insurance, and security necessary for performance. Armed personnel must have the required firearm licensing and experience, employees must satisfy applicable background-screening requirements, and the vendor must maintain Florida licenses and a $500,000 fidelity bond. The initial term is three years, with two mutually agreed one-year renewal periods.
