Description
Tarrant County is seeking vendors to supply assorted medical consumables on an as-needed basis, including hypodermic and blood-collection needles, syringes, collection tubes, sharps containers, specimen containers, alcohol products, prep pads, bandages, exam supplies, disinfectants, wipes, gloves, gowns, face masks, and gauze. Bidders may bid on any or all line items, and awards will be made by line item to the lowest responsible bidder meeting specifications. Products must be supplied by an authorized distributor, reseller, or manufacturer; approved equivalents are generally permitted, while certain specified items require no substitutions. The contract has a 12-month base term with one additional 12-month renewal option. Deliveries will be made to various Tarrant County locations identified on individual purchase orders. Alternate products require descriptive specification sheets or SDS documents, and certain alternate items require samples before the response deadline. The bid must be completed through the procurement system's line-item response and attachment sections, including required insurance verification, a W-9, applicable diversity certifications, and three references.
