Submission Instructions
Description
The project involves constructing approximately 12,903 feet of 60-inch and 3,749 feet of 66-inch sanitary sewer by open-cut methods, plus 2,426 feet of 60-inch and 565 feet of 66-inch sanitary sewer using trenchless construction. Work also includes manholes and special structures, bypass pumping, dewatering, storm sewer and water main replacement, and installation of flow-metering equipment with new electrical service. Additional work includes replacing hot-mix asphalt and Portland cement concrete, temporary traffic control, erosion control, seeding, cleanup, and miscellaneous related work. The project is generally along Walnut Creek in Clive, West Des Moines, and Windsor Heights, Iowa.
