Description
Denton County is requesting qualification statements from firms to provide professional materials testing and geotechnical services for building construction projects on an as-needed, project-specific basis. The scope may include materials testing and inspection, special inspections, laboratory and field testing, geotechnical investigations, subsurface utility engineering, soil and foundation evaluations, quality assurance and quality control testing, analysis, reporting, and related services. Respondents must submit firm qualifications and technical qualifications. Firm qualifications include recent project experience, references, staffing and key-personnel information, applicable licenses or certifications, firm qualifications, subcontractor-selection procedures, and disclosures regarding terminated contracts or regulatory actions. Technical qualifications must address the proposed approach, work plan, coordination, testing standards, quality-control procedures, reporting, electronic documentation, data management, communications, scheduling, and responsiveness. Each section is limited to 15 pages. The resulting master agreement may run for up to five years, with services authorized through individual work assignments; the County does not guarantee any volume of work.
