Description
The City of Denton is soliciting suppliers for completely assembled and tested electric utility instrument transformers for use in substations in the Denton, Texas area. The requested equipment includes potential transformers, current transformers, and coupling-capacitor voltage transformers for 13.2 kV, 24.9 kV, 69 kV, 138 kV, and 345 kV systems, with specified electrical ratings, accuracy, burden, insulation, corrosion resistance, sealing, grounding, terminal, nameplate, and testing requirements. Suppliers must provide product literature, outline drawings, nameplate data, ratings verification, pricing, delivery schedules, manufacturer testing information, warranties, and certified test reports. The respondent must be the manufacturer or an authorized distributor, and the proposal must include evidence of authorization. Estimated quantities are based on five years of anticipated purchases, with individual purchase orders issued as needed; the City may award by line item and may use primary, secondary, and tertiary vendors. The initial contract term is one year with two additional one-year renewal options and a possible extension of up to six months. Responses may be submitted through IonWave or by hard copy only; email submissions are not accepted. Questions must be submitted through IonWave by the stated deadline. The City recommends submitting well before the deadline because electronic submission may take significant time.
