Description
Onondaga County Parks is soliciting bids from a New York State-licensed professional land surveyor to perform boundary surveys for properties owned or managed by the County. Services include deed and records research; field measurements; locating, flagging, and, when necessary, setting property corner monuments; boundary and site mapping; acreage calculations; identification of visible encroachments; and notification of adjacent property owners when field work occurs near their boundaries. Deliverables include certified final boundary survey maps, monument and corner information, encroachment documentation, electronic PDF surveys, CAD or GIS-compatible boundary data when requested, and hard copies as directed. The contract is for one year beginning November 15, 2026, with two additional one-year renewal periods available by mutual written consent. Work will be issued on an as-needed, park-by-park or parcel-by-parcel basis, with initial areas including Highland Forest County Park, Jamesville Beach County Park, and Pratts Falls County Park. Bidders must provide unit pricing for general surveying and related services, including boundary surveys, ALTA/NSPS land title surveys, topographic surveys, monument setting, staking, mapping, records research, professional surveyor labor, drafting, and travel.
