Description
Onondaga County, on behalf of the Syracuse City School District, is soliciting sealed bids for as-needed delivery of purified or spring water in compatible five-gallon plastic jugs to multiple district locations. The contractor must collect empty bottles, provide returnable and reusable jugs, and include delivery, labor, materials, supplies, fuel, and related costs in the unit prices. Estimated pricing quantities are 1,600 water bottles and 17 dispenser cleanings, although actual quantities and locations may change during the contract term. Optional dispenser-cleaning services include exterior and reservoir cleaning, diagnostics, sanitizing internal water-contact surfaces and spigots, mold removal, and replacement of specified missing or damaged parts. Water jugs must meet stated BPA-free, BPS-free, labeling, source-certification, expiration, compatibility, and treatment requirements. Bids may cover water service, cleaning, or both. Insurance is required, including general liability and automobile liability coverage with minimum limits of $1,000,000 each, and prevailing-wage requirements apply where applicable.
