Description
Onondaga County, for the City of Syracuse Police Department, is soliciting bids to furnish and install tactical perimeter seating and storage compartments in two Ford Transit 350 cargo vans: one 2027 model and one 2026 model, both high-roof, all-wheel-drive vehicles with 148-inch wheelbases. The scope includes flooring, ceiling, wall and door liners, dual-color ceiling-mounted lights, a center ceiling grab rail, three flip-up aluminum bench seats with under-seat storage, fasteners, switches, wiring, assembly, and installation. The vehicles will be delivered to the winning vendor's facility, with work completed within 30 days of each vehicle's drop-off. The first vehicle is expected to be delivered before the second. Bidders must provide product and brand details for alternatives, applicable product data sheets, warranty information, and estimated lead times and turnaround times for each van. A minimum one-year warranty is required for labor and installation, with product warranties transferable to the agency. Insurance is required, including at least $1 million in general liability and $1 million in automobile liability coverage.
