Description
The Boise City Housing Authority is requesting statements of qualifications from licensed architectural and engineering firms for complete roof replacement services at two multifamily residential buildings. The scope includes assessing existing roofing assemblies, decking, and flashings; preparing schematic drawings, construction documents, and technical specifications; and supporting bidding and construction through cost estimates, bid evaluations, submittal reviews, and on-site inspections. Designs must comply with HUD requirements, local building codes, and energy-efficiency standards, and firms should have knowledge of roof attachments such as electrical panels, HVAC systems, and cellular towers. Responses will be evaluated on qualifications, relevant public housing and roof-replacement experience, technical competence, capacity, past performance, and knowledge of HUD requirements. The agency may interview firms and intends to negotiate price with the highest-ranked firm. The response must include three references for similar projects completed within the past five years. The selected firm must execute the contract form included as Exhibit A.
